Moving Gently Through Nature
Our mission is to introduce you to nature with the lightest possible footprint. In spring, we favor quiet walks to respect the birds’ nesting peace. We explore the bogs with snowshoes only from midsummer to early spring, honoring the best practices of snowshoe tourism.
Small Groups, Deep Connections
We believe in taking our time. By guiding smaller groups, we create space for personal conversations and shared discovery — leading to a deeper understanding of each other and the natural world around us.
Sensing Nature With Every Step
As we walk, we invite you to truly notice. Pause to observe the ever-changing environment, and engage all your senses — sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. From sparkling dewdrops and golden sunbeams filtering through mossy trees, to the refreshing embrace of a bog lake at sunrise — every moment has something to offer.
Rooted in Tradition
Our ways of moving through nature come from old wisdom. Skating on mirror-smooth bog ice in winter, hiking through ancient forests in summer, tasting berries or mushrooms straight from the land — these are simple, honest pleasures that connect us to place and tradition.
A Shared Responsibility
The more we value and understand nature, the more we protect it. By walking together, we hope to strengthen this awareness — preserving the beauty of the wild for generations to come.
Community and Collaboration
We are proud members of the VisitKorvemaa community tourism network. Our work is rooted in collaboration with local service providers, craftspeople, home cooks and herbalists. Each walk includes snacks or drinks prepared by local foragers or chefs — real food, from the surrounding forests.
Keeping Culture Alive
What truly matters is caring for one another and finding joy in what we do. By supporting our community, we help keep our culture, stories, and traditions alive and meaningful.
