🌲 A walk through living landscape
We begin with a gentle walk through protected forest, discovering what often goes unnoticed.
Along the way, you will:
- explore wild edible plants and traditional herbal knowledge
- learn to recognize animal tracks and signs of wildlife
- walk along glacial ridges formed during the Ice Age
- cross a small stream shaped by beavers
- listen to the forest – its sounds, silence and movement
The route is flexible (1–5 km) and adapted to your pace.
🏡 Authentic farm life at Uuejärve
The walk leads us to Uuejärve Farm, a historic homestead surrounded by forest. Here, you step into a living rural environment, where everyday life continues as it has for generations.
You will:
- explore the garden and farm surroundings
- learn about the structure and rhythm of a traditional Estonian farm
- spend time simply being present in a place that is both personal and deeply connected to nature
We enjoy seasonal flavours from the forest, complemented by homemade treats from local bakers and home cooks.
